EmTech has a private listserve, on Google Groups, for current students, faculty, alumni, and advisors.

LinkedIn Profiles and Groups

LinkedIn is presently the most feature-rich global business social network. You are asked to create a full personal profile on LinkedIn, and to post regularly to one LinkedIn group during the program. A number of EmTech-related LinkedIn groups are listed below.

Google+ Profiles, Groups and Group Blogs

Google+ presently offers the most advanced online collaboration suite, and a useful new social network. You are asked to create a full personal G+ profile. When G+ Groups for business emerges (soon), EmTech will launch a private G+ group for our community, and a public Emerging Technologies group and blog.

EmTech Wiki

The EmTech wiki is where students, faculty, alumni, and advisors collect and organize information on a range of topics useful to the EmTech community. Some sections are private, others are open to public view. Check it out!

Professional Associations

EmTech students are expected to join at least two professional associations as student members, the first a science and technology association, and the second a foresight and forecasting, innovation and entrepreneurship, or strategy and management association. In each case, these should be associations which may be most useful to the student’s current career goals and thesis. A number of EmTech-related associations are listed below.
